| Swim Team Meeting for all new and returning swim team members on Wednesday, January 25th 12:30pm - 12:45 pm on the pool deck. Colorguard Tryouts will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 12:30pm - 2:00 pm in C-104. Effective immediately the Marquee Gate in front of the school will close every day at 1:00 pm. After 1:00 pm everyone must enter the campus via the Washington Blvd gate. Please plan accordingly. |

![]() What is the CELDT Test?Federal and state law require that students who are new to a District and who speak a language other thanb English must take a language proficiency examination which is the California English Language Development Test (CELDT) within thirty days (30) of enrollment. If your answer to one or more of the following questions is one other than English, your child qualifies to take the CELDT. (1) What is the first language your child learned? (2) What language does your child use most frequently at home? (3) What language do you use most frequently to speak to your child? The CELDT assesses a child's language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Information from the CELDT enables us to place your child in the best possible learning environment. The CELDT test is free of charge and takes about an hour to complete. If your child fits this criteria you will need to schedule an appointment for the CELDT test prior to enrolling at Pasadena High School. ![]() Parent PortalParent Portal is now available. Once you have a Parent Portal account you will be able to view your students attendance, grades, immunizations and student demographics. If you have more than one student at Pasadena High School you will need an account for each student. Both parents can have their own account but must come in individually to sign up for their account. To get an account you will need to have an email address and photo ID. You can sign up at the Records Office windows during school hours. Log on to Parent Portal.
![]() New immunization records for the 2011-2012 school yearIf your student is 10 years and older and has not yet received the "Tdap" Pertussis booster shot, please contact your doctor or health department. As per Assembly Bill 354 - any student who does not have proof of a Tdap booster shot will NOT be allowed to start school (new school year beginning August 31, 2011) until proof of immunization is given to the school. Please make sure that we have proof of your students' Tdap booster.. During the summer please fax the Tdap records to (626) 791-5276. If you would like to drop off the records to the school we will re-open on Tuesday, August 16th. Do NOT mail the records.

![]() Transcripts for classes taken at PCC or one of the adult schoolsIf you have taken or are taking classes at one of the adult schools or PCC (or other community college) and want these classes listed on your high school transcript...it is your responsibility to provide the Records Office with an OFFICIAL SEALED TRANSCRIPT of the final grades.
